Course Objective The aim of this course is to gain fundamental concepts and skills necessary to understand a child’s physical, psychological and social development. Major theories of development and the factors affecting the development process will be discussed.
Course Content Development Psychology: Principles, history and techniques Biological bases of development Prenatal development Physical and sensory development Cognitive and language development Gender development Social development Theories of personality development Moral development .
