Course Objective The purpose of this course is preparing students for the business by giving the basic information about marketing concept, mixed marketing factors and modern marketing applications in tourism industry.
Course Content The development and importance of tourism marketing concept; structure of marketing in tourism; attitude of tourist; touristic product and service policies; tourism pricing; tourism distribution channels; surviving studies in tourism; tourism destination management; tourism marketing planning; strategic planning and management in tourism; marketing control and performance scale; tourism marketing research; global tourism strategies; meeting tourism marketing; the importance of communication in tourism marketing and guest relations.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Express the terms of Basic Marketing and Tourism Marketing.
2Identify the importance of marketing at tourism.
3Identify and express the properties and difficulties of service marketing and the points that need to be carefull at practice.
4Describe market research, marketing strategies, marketing plans and programs.
5Define producer and consumer oriented marketing components, distribution canals and promotion activities.
