Course Objective
This course focuses on the development of students’ skills of reading and writing so that they can express themselves in a clear and successful way. With this course, it is aimed that students can develop their skills of reading texts related to tourism industry and of writing tourism-themed compositions with basic reading and writing information. Also, with the help of materials such as newspapers, journals or articles, the students are taught to read and interpret academic texts and to write academic compositions related to tourism literature.
Course Content
This course includes in estimating and understanding the main point of a more complex and academic text and writing compositions in English with a proper and basic English grammar rules and with references to tourism literature and tourism industry.
