Course Objective To explain consumer behavior before, during and after the travel experience, to examine consumer decision making process of travel and purchasing, and to teach the factors affecting consumer behavior.
Course Content This course includes the topics: Consumer Behavior and Tourism Consumer Behavior, Main Concepts in Consumer Behavior and Tourism Consumer Motivation, Determinants and Models of Consumer Decision Making Process, Tourism Consumer Buying Behavior, Tourist Typologies, Characteristics of Different Market Segments in Tourism Demand, Tourism Consumer Behavior and Culture, Tourism Consumer Behavior and Technology, The Marketing Mix and Tourism Consumer Behavior, Customer Satisfaction in Tourism, Changes, Trends and Future Consumer Behavior in Tourism.
