Course Objective Learning the interfaces between transportation, logistics and supply chain managementreviewing existing literature and theory in the field of transportation management, help students to understand the theoretical foundation of transportation management, its processes, tools and implementation within companiesproviding comprehensive foundation of transportation management to enable the student analyze transportation management decisions by using case studies and experimental exercises.
Course Content Important elements covered in the course but are not limited to include the following:Introduction to transportation managementInterfaces between logistics, transportation and supply chain managementDecision types in transportation management General overview of Turkey’s transportation infrastructure.
