COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree

Course Objective To explain ;the properties of external trade and the roles of banks within these transactions, the kinds of foreign exchange transactions and their applications in banks, as well as the implementation of the legal procedure and to determine the export and import transactions. Besides, to inform the students concerning the documents that are used in the external trade transactions and the payment models, the financing patterns of external trade transactions methods and to inform about the financial products obtained from local and abroad.
Course Content To give information about the characteristics of foreign trade transactions and show the role of the banking system as intermediary institutions. During the course, participant will be trained about types of FX transactions and respective rules & regulations about them. It will be emphasized in details about structure of import and export transactions. We will also review the documents and payment systems as well as delivering the basic information on international trade products, domestic and international financing instruments.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Composes the various case studies with examples taken from real life by applying the exchange transactions of foreign trade will provide an understanding of how intertwined infrastructure
2Creates the Import and Export Transactions and the world standards are applied in Turkey about the differences, similarities and understanding was created to provide norms perspective
3Composes the students with Foreign Trade Transactions and the correct decision when confronted, they can make choices which are necessary for accurate level of knowledge
