Course Objective	We aim to convey an understanding of the importance and use of biomaterials in the medical field, to inform about the developments on biomaterials, biocompatibility, implant-tissue interactions
Course Content	The concept of Biomedical Materials, definition of biomaterials, classification and principles, the techniques used in the production of biomaterials, characterization and structural analysis of biomaterials, biomaterials used in the medical field, the concept of biocompatibility, investigation of tissue response to implants biomaterials, immune cell responses, polymeric biomedical materials, recent developments in the field of biomedical materials
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
