Course Objective
Improve understanding of the basic concepts of oscillations and waves and to establish relationships between them. In connection therewith, to explain events like the waves of light and sound.
Course Content
Waves, pulses and wave packets, the propagation of the wave, the group and phase velocity, Disposal and Fourier analysis of the advancing wave packet, Harmonic plane waves and propagation vector, water waves and electromagnetic waves, the Light, the polarization, the production of different polarization them and polar wave, the wave of initiatives and diffraction, Huygens principle, properties of optical instruments
