Course Objective Introduction of the manufacturing methods used in biomedical engineering, giving information about how these manufacturing methods are realized and 3D CAD modeling of the parts produced by these methods and analysis by finite element method.
Course Content Casting, plastic injection, cold forming and joining processes, machine element fundamentals, 3D printers, powder metallurgy, composite materials, metal cutting processes, 3D CAD drawing and assembly, finite element method.
