Course Objective This course's aim is to define the positive reel input functions, to teach the network functions, to define and to use the realization methods of one-port LC, RC and LC circuit functions . In the framework of this information, to give students the ability of using realization methods of two-port passive and active circuits.
Course Content Network functions / Positive reel functions / Synthesis of one-port LC circuits: Foster and Cauer circuits / RC and RL circuits / Synthesis of two-port passive circuits: Resistor terminated LC ladder circuits and zero shifting method / Approximation problem: Butterworth and Chebyshev functions / Active circuit synthesis / Sensitivity analysis.
