COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To teach the design of circuits with OP-AMP and structure of amplifier .To explain the basic properties of semiconductor structures, to study the relationship between types of semiconductor material, to show the transmission status and conditions of the semiconductor circuit elements, to teach the dc analysis of transistor circuits, to demonstrate the use of electronic simulation programs.
Course Content P-type and N-type semiconductor materials forward and reverse biased junction, Semiconductor diodes: basic diode structure and characteristics, circuit models for the semiconductor diode, specification diode types (zener, led, photo, schottky), Diode applications, (rectifier circuits, clamping circuits...), simplified structure of BJT/MOSFET and models of operation, biasing BJT/MOSFET, dc analysis of basic BJT/MOSFET circuits.
