Course Objective	Educating students about the Material selection and material properties of aviation, non destructive testing of materials the importance of methods of manufacturing methods.
Course Content	Material selection and material properties aviation, aviation and the importance of mechanical behavior of materials, raw material production and smelting processes, casting materials, forging materials and manufacturing methods, Manufacturing Processes: Welding, Heat Treatment - Non-traditional processing methods, Surface Treatments and Coatings, Materials testing methods, test results, non-destructive inspection methods, destructive inspection methods - Aerospace Quality System and Standards, the choice of materials and manufacturing processes of different applications for engine parts
