To teach the production of nuclear energy and materials by special methods and characterization processes; to explain nuclear reactors and materials used in these reactors within the scope of metallurgy and material engineering in our country's transition to nuclear technology; to explain nuclear reactors and nuclear fuels and metallurgy, to introduce the various materials used in the nuclear industry, to provide the production and basic properties of these materials
Course Content
Nuclear metallurgy introduction of nuclear material in the world and Turkey, resources and utilization, the production of materials and nuclear fuels in nuclear energy, basic rules and principles of nuclear power generation, nuclear reactors, materials and production used in nuclear reactors, characterization of these materials, equipment used in nuclear power generation, radiation formation and emission, radiation control, production and properties of materials used in radiation control, fuel residues and their control, various materials and properties used in nuclear reactors and used in this industry, developments in the nuclear energy sector
