Course Objective The main objective of the course is to provide the mechanical engineering student with a realistic understanding of the basic machine elements and to develop skills to design of machine elements. Mechanical components, materials, design, selection criteria for the standard elements, to make the numerical applications.
Course Content Introduction to mechanical systems, fits and tolerances, load and stress analysis, materials, welded, soldered and adhesive joints, screws fasteners, power screws, rivets, shafts, keys, couplings, springs, rolling and journal bearing.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
