Course Objective To give information about the planting design and practices and to give information about the points to be considered in plant selection, expressing the importance of planting design by describing the visual, ecological and functional characteristics of plants and designing, drawing and evaluating planting design by students
Course Content Explaining the design elements and design principles in plant compositions, Explaining the aesthetic / visual, functional and ecological usage areas of plant material according to design purposes, Explaining different planting techniques in the design of plant compositions, researching planting design projects in line with planting design principles and drawing planting design projects
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To be able to determine the aesthetic / visual, functional and ecological usage areas of plant material according to design purposes
2They will learn different planting techniques in the design of plant compositions. They will be able to apply their results to practice.
3They will be able to evaluate the use and design of plants in the space design process and make a transfer to project lessons.
