Course Objective To develop awareness about social, economic, cultural and other social factors that form architecture as historical and social discipline; to make research, to read and create a critical approach in this field.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Develops a basic chronological explanation of major architectural developments.
2Identifies built forms, construction techniques and materials within a contextual approach.
3Rationalises and associates built forms, construction techniques and materials with relevant social, economic, cultural, and technological contexts and interactions.
4Describes architectural features of major structures and architectural works in history.
5Performs a spatial analysis of major architectural works in oral and visual media.
6Distinguishes and compares architectural and art productions of similar and differing cultural contexts.
