Course Objective To give basic knowledge in the field of documentation and protection of cultural property. To provide information and awareness to guide professional practice in the field of protection of cultural property
Course Content Courses within the scope of documentation, the concept of cultural property protection, legal and administrative protection approaches in Turkey are examined. In this context, the presence of culture on an international scale approach to the definition and protection of historical development and current legal definitions and processes embodied in Turkey today, the only approach to building and construction groups, the measures of protection and conservation practices are introduced and discussed in our country. Documentation studies are held in a historic city and conservation proposals are developed for selected site or building.
