Course Objective The main purpose is to teach Turkey tourism geography and the kinds of tourisms which can be achieved in this geography. Also informing the students for the guide exams.
Course Content In this lecture we will handle; definition, elements and relationship with the other science branches of tourism and tourism geography. Also we will handle the general and regional tourism geography of Turkey.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Define the concepts, ideas and basic information in the field of tourism and geography.
2Identify the eligibility of this field in terms of tourism.
3List the touristic resources of country, region and area.
4Identify the demand to a destination for tourism.
5Locate and compose the criterias for tourism region, area, national parks, natural conservation areas and contributes to the work to be done on topic.
6Obtain and summarize the information on competitions for tourist guides and other tourist-oriented employment.
7Contribute to the decision-making and feasibility efforts of people and organizations for tourism investments in the region.
