The aim of this course is to explain the terms of culture and intercultural communicatıon and factors effecting these terms and to discuss about the effects of tourism on culture.

Elements of Culture and Intercultural Communication; Elements Effecting Intercultural Communication; Sub-Cultures Sub-Groups; The Concept of Identity and Dissimilarity; Distribution Models, Cultural Icons, Cultural Hegemony, Intercultural Communication and Language; Intercultural Communication and Messages which are not Oral; Culture Shock, Intercultural Communication and Mass Communications; Advertisement.
