Course Objective The aim of this lesson is to teach knowledge about the terms and concepts of front office management.
Course Content Front Office department in hotel and its relations with other departments, organizational structure of F/O, job specifications, daily routines, reservation, check-in and check-out practices, reporting, concierge, night audit, communication; pricing the rooms, forecasting, information and application on automation system.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Plans the room availability for next days.
2Realizes taking reservations then book into automation system.
3Realizes customer check-in applications entirely.
4Realizes check-out transactions with taking payments.
5Judges on preparation of room forecasts and room rates.
6applies all transactions via front office management automation system (e.g. Fidelio).
7evaluates the administrative efficiency of employees in front-office.
