Course Objective	This course is to acquaint the Nursing Division students with fundamental facts and concepts of microbiology and to familiarize them with the importance of knowing the fundamental principles of this field.
Course Content	Introduction to microbiology, Health and Safety, Bacterial structure, Growing media of microorganism, Methods of staining, Normal flora, Sterilization, Disinfection, İntroduction to immunology, İmmune system, What are antigen and antibody, Antigen presenting, Response to immunization, Serological and microbiological diagnostic methods, Hospital infections.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
