Course Objective Student may; 1.Explain types of hardware description languages, the usage area, the basic concepts and steps to follow on system design. 2.Explain the basic components of hardware description languages,the types of data,the sequential and parallel expressions,the basic structures of modeling. 3.make design and simulation of digital circuits with using basic language structures. 4.Make the simulation and analyse of the designed system with helping testbench's programs. .
Course Content Hardware description languages : VHDL, Verilog, JHDL, System C, designing steps, confirmation tools, programming standarts, basic data types, consecutive commands, routines, components, description of configuration and their using.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1Describes the types, fields of application and the basic concepts of hardware description languages​​ and the steps to be followed in the design of the system.
2Describes the basic components, data types, sequential and parallel expressions and basic modelling structures.
3Designs and simulates digital circuits using basic language structures.
4Simulates and analyzes systems designed by testbench programs.
