Course Objective Student may; 1.explain the stability concept of system 2. determine absolute stability of a system as Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion 3.draw root-locus of a system 4.analyze system stability as drawing Bode diagram of the system 5.analyze system stability as using Nyquist diagram of the system 6.design traditional controller.
Course Content Stability concept of systems, stability by Hurwitz stability determinants, Routh tables, Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion and its properties, applications related with Proper solvings in the Routh tables, MATLAB applications.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

1Explains the concept “stability of systems” .
2Determines the absolute stability of a system according to Routh-Hurwitz stability criterion
3Draws a curve in the roots of the system.
4Analyzes the stability of the system drawing the bode diagram of the system.
5Analyzes the stability of the system using the Nyquist diagram of the system.
6Makes the traditional controller design.
