Course Objective Purpose of this course is to advance knowledge the students about basic strengths and type of strengts learning (tensile stress, compressing stress bending stress, shear stress,torsional stress).and resultant stresses. In addition to learning compulsory lecture of Machine Design Lectures basics .
Course Content Concept of stress, Axial Loading, normal stress, Shearing stress, Bearing stress, Stress and Strain, Hooke Law, Deformations of members under axial loading, Deformations of members under temperature changes, Torsion Pure Bending, Area moments of Inertia, Bending stress and Force-Moment diagrams.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
