COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The goal of this course is to teach students the following topics: bio-molecules and organisms, cells and their properties (organization, metabolisms, morphologies etc), energy cycles in organisms, properties of plants and animals as foods.
Course Content Concept of organisms, bio-molecules and origins of life, classification of organisms, cells, types of cells, cell organizations, organelles, cell divisions (mitosis and meiosis), genetic materials, mass transportation in cells, protein synthesis, energy cycles in cells (respiration vs. photosynthesis) and other biological cycles, plant and animal tissues and organs and their properties as foods.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
