COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Elective
Course Objective Teaching earth surface shape Understanding valley, mountain, plain and plateau form Giving subject erosion, phases of erosion and surface shapes which forms by erosion, Teaching formed of drainage systems and karstic morphology .
Course Content Introduction and division of geomorphology, valley forming, erosion and it’s phases and evolution, surface shapes which forms by erosion, forming of mountain, plain and plateau, effect to morphology of geological structures and events, drainage systems and karstic morphologies.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Morphotectonics studies the direct effect of Earth movements on landform evolution. It includes the study of mountains, erosion surfaces, drainage patterns, and sediments on land and offshore. Morphotectonics, the relation between geomorphology and (neo)tectonics is fundamental to the understanding of landscape evolution. The morphological structure of drainage systems, river courses, glacial forms, volcanic landscapes and mass movements is compared with joint orientations.
