Course Objective The main goal of this course, obtain knowledge about drilling methods, application, equipments, locations, difficulties, Safety in drilling, Accidents and malfunctions of drilling.
Course Content Introduction and historical development of drilling, Types, Methods, Equipments, Drilling liquids (muds) , Well hydraulics, Implementation of drilling, Determination and definition of formations, Productivity of wells, Difficulties of drilling, Safety in drilling, Accidents and malfunctions of drilling.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To have knowledge about drilling, understand the importance of drilling, to be familiar with application area of the drilling, identifying drilling equipments, to learn drilling methods and determining suitable drilling location, to examine drilling failures, accidentd and recovery operations.
