COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Compulsory
Course Objective Mechanics is branch of the physical sciences that deals with the response of bodies to the action of forces. The subject matter of this field constitutes a large part of our knowledge of the laws governing the behavior of solid bodies. Statics is concerned with bodies that are acted on balanced forces that are in equilibrium. During the course, the students learn fundamental physical concepts and methods regarding the physics theories. The students are aimed to learn the basic static concepts and the students are able to interpret the physical problems faced in the natural life with these concepts and able to solve them during their profession ( Mechanical, Textile and Geology Engineering) .
Course Content Principles of mechanics, vectors and vector operations, force, force couples and moment, equivalent systems, equivalnet force and moment systems, sum of forces.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
