Course Objective	The aim of this lesson is to present the definition of archaeology and its collaboration with other sciences as well as to create awareness about historical and archaeological heritage of Anatolia.
Course Content	During this lesson, the definition and main working principles in archaeology will be explained. Also, archaeological heritage of Anatolia will be presented in a chronological order.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

1	To learn the definition of archaeology and its interdisciplinary coordination with other sciences
2	To know main subjects and terminology of archaeology
3	To be able to understand historical background of archaeology in the world and in Turkey and also factors that prepared this process
4	To know the main chronology in Anatolia
5	Awareness about archaeological and historical heritage of Turkey
