Course Objective This course will introduce students to different types of statistical methods. Students will then be able to determine which method is appropriate for a given situation.
Course Content Basic concepts/ Frequency Tables and Graphs/ Measures of Central Tendency and Dispersions: Mean, Median, Mode and Variance/ Sampling and Sampling Distributions/ Confidence Intervals for Mean/ Confidence Intervals for Variance/ Tests of Hypotheses for Mean/ Tests of Hypotheses for Variance/ Goodness of Fit Test, Test for Independence, Test for Homogeneity/ Regression Analysis
