Course Objective To define the network function, zero and pole, to teach 1st and 2nd orders general purpose filter transfer functions, to define and to use the approximation theorems and frequency transformations. In this respect, to get the ability the third level of Electrical and Electronics Engineering students on realization methods of high order active filter circuits.
Course Content Network Function / Rational Functions /Zero and Pole Definitions / Approximation Theory: Butterworth, Generalized Butterworth, Chebyshev and Elliptic Functions / Active Circuit Synthesis / Sensitivity Analysis / Amplitude and Frequency Normalization / Project.
