Course Objective The aim of this course is to give students detailed information related to the sun followers, maximum power tracking systems, solar energy water heating systems, solar energy systems dependent to and independent from grid, and solar energy based water extraction methods.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1The student can calculate the position of the sun at any time of the day and be able to calculate the value of strength.
2The student knows the types of solar followers and its operating logic.
3The student learns maximum power position tracking types and techniques through DC/DC and DC/AC converters.
4The student knows PV systems that are dependent to grid and independent from grid.
