Course Objective Understanding the basic principles of wireless communication systems. To learn the standards used in wireless communication systems.
Course Content Introduction to Mobile Communications Systems, Applications and Requirements of Wireless Services, Technical Challenges of Wireless Communications, Propagation Mechanisms, Statistical Description of the Wireless Channel, Wideband and Directional Channel Characterization, Channel Models, Antennas, Transceiver And Signal Processing, Multiple Access And Advanced Transceiver Schemes, Standardized Wireless Systems.
