Course Objective
This course aims to introduce the basic concepts of sensors and actuators used in control systems. It also covers design techniques for control of physical systems. The laboratory for the course covers topics discussed in the class.
Course Content
An overview of design techniques with particular interest to industrial requirements. Feedback implementation: Transducers, sensors, and signal conditioning. Implementation of various types of control actions and servo control. Laboratory.
