COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree
Course Type Elective
Course Objective Polymer Science and gaining knowledge about the basic concepts of engineering. During the processing of polymeric materials and investigation of the properties affecting the fundamental features of the post-treatment (physical, thermal, mechanical and rheological). The formation of the microstructure of the polymer processing methods and principles of understanding and examining the group's main thermoplastics and plastic part design features the choice of material is intended to be the basis.
Course Content Polymer Engineering and Introduction to polymeric materials. The historical development of the polymer industry. Classification and polymerization methods of polymers. And modification of the rheological properties of polymers. Industrial characterization of polymers. Mechanical testing methods, thermal testing methods, electrical test methods, physical test methods and testing flame retardant properties. Polymer processing methods. Engineering and analysis of general-purpose polymer; the choice of plastics material.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
