Course Objective Understanding basics of chemical engineering design. Learning and drawing process flow chart. Selection, specification and design of process equipment.
Course Content Fundamentals of mass and energy balances. Design Information. Data costing and project evaluation. Flow-sheeting. Equipment selection, specification and design. Design of piping and instrumentation, pumps, compresors, decanters, cyclones and reactors.
