Course Objective To provide information about analysis and design of reinforced concrete slab and foundation systems, code based seismic design calculations of reinforced concrete structures.
Course Content Analysis and design of widely used footing and slab systems in reinforced concrete building systems. Calculation of seismic forces acting on reinforced concrete buildings. Compatibility of seismic design calculations with the code based regulations.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Able to perform analysis and design of different R/C slab types.
2Able to perform analysis and design of foundation systems used in masonry and R/C buildings.
3Able to know how to make seismic design calculations in R/C buildings and how to check them according to code regulations.
4Able to check the irregularities with regarding to the codes
