Course Objective
Knowledge about the normal concrete made with normal aggregate and normal Portland cement is given in Structural Materails course. In fact in some conditions producing and using of different type of concrete that have different properties is being accelerated. In this course; knowledge about materials required for making special concrete, design principles and production techniques of special concrete will be given.

Lightweight concrete, Heavyweight concrete, Air-entrained concrete, High strength concrete, Self compacting concrete, Shotcrete, Vacuum concrete, Fiber reinforced concrete, Mass concrete, Polymer concrete, Roller compacted concrete, Underwater concrete, Injection mortar.
