Course Objective To provide the principles of soil dynamics and geotechnical earthquake engineering, which is one of the important topics in an earthquake country like Turkey, and ability to perform seismic analysis.
Course Content Seismology and Earthquakes, Earthquake Activity in Turkey, Geotechnical Earthquake Damages, Strong Ground Motion, Dynamic Soil Properties, Introduction to Liquefaction, Soil Amplification, Soil Improvement.
