Course Objective
The main objective of the course is to give the student definitons of difference equations and differential equations and solving methods of them, also related applications of statistics and economics.
Course Content
Week Subject 1 Finite differences and first degree difference equations and solutions. 2 Second degree difference equations and solutions. 3 Classification of differential equations, solutions, beginning and range value problems, differential equations in basic type. 4 First degree differential equations, differential equations which can be a part in variables. 5 Whole differential equations, integral multiplier, homogenous differential equations. 6 Linear differential equations. 7 Non-linear differential equations. 8 Mid-term 9 Mid_term 10 First degree differential equations in statistics and economy. 11 High degree differential equations-Linear indepented functions, Wronskian determinant. 12 Constant coefficient homogenous differential equations, Constant coefficient non-homogenous differential equations. 13 Cauchy-Euler equation, second degree differential equations in statistics applications. 14 Solving linear differential equations with serials- solution with power serial, solution near singular points; Frobenius method.
