Course Objective The aim of this course is to provide students with ability to explain local, metropol and wide area network technologies and their protocols and the operation of these protocols, routing concepts and routing protocols.

Introduction to Wide Area Network Technologies. Classification of Wide Area Networks. CSU/DSU E1, T1, T3 Digital Services. SONET X.25 Technology. ISDN Technology. xDSL Technologies.
