Course Objective
The aim of this course is to present communications systems, analogue and digital communications principles and comparisons, analogue modulation techniques (Amplitude, frequency and phase modulations), sampling theory, signal-to-noise ratio calculation (SNR), analogue filter design and MaTLab applications.
Course Content
Introduction to the Communications Systems, Characteristics and the comparisons of analogue and digital communications. Analog modulation techniques (Amplitude, Frequency and Phase Modulation), sampling theory and applications. Analog Filter Design. Noise in Communication Systems.
