Course Objective Course is aimed towards basic PLC concepts and how to apply and use sensors and motors in automation using PLC. The student will have the ability to manage different automation applications using PLC Ladder Diagrams.
Course Content Introduction to automation and PLC concepts: Types of PLCs, PLC ladder diagrams. Control systems based on PC and PLC programming: Automation system design with microcontroller, PLC’s as communications over a network. Control systems for industry and software applications. Tools and techniques used in different industrial automation applications. Different automation projects are realized using PLC.
