Course Objective To provide students with the core subjects and issues of health and safety in the workplace, To discuss with students health and safety legislation and decided court cases, To provide students with the knowledge to enable them to manage contemporary problems from a wide and critical perspective.
Course Content The Term "Occupational Health and Safety, Sources", Scope Fundamental Concepts of Occupational Health and Safety Law, Obligations of Employers, Employer's Representatives, Workers, Trade Unions and the State, Health and Safety of Workers carrying out Dangerous and Hazardous Work, Health and Safety of Women Workers, Child and Young Workers, Disabled Workers Responsibility of State and Employers.
