Course Objective The general objective of this course is to introduce the main subjects of Defence Economics in a intermediate level. At the end of the course students are expect to have basic knowledge of Defence Economics.
Course Content The course will be structured around the following topics: - How do economists analyse defence? The determinants of Turkish defence expenditure. Arms Race, Procurement, Military manpower Defence industry Arms control, disarmament, the arms trade, conversion and the peace dividend. Economics of Terrorism .
