COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The aim of this course is to explain and reveal the importance of international trade, and to give information about international trade theories and policies.
Course Content The reasons for international trade, absolute and comparative advantages, Heckscher-Ohlin Theorem, foreign trade theory, protectionism, tariffs and nontariff trade barriers, globalization, economic integrations: customs unions and free trade zones, EU and EU-Turkey economic relations, other economic integrations (Except European Union), are the topics that will be analyzed and evaluated.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
