Course Objective The aim of this course is to give information about national and international fiscal indicators and to provide the basic skills necessary to understand the obtaining, analysis and interpretation of fiscal data and information.
Course Content 1. Introduction to the course: basic concepts 2. Scientific research process 3. Introducing the national and global databases of economic and fiscal indicators 4. National income, GDP, Growth 5. Employment, unemployment, wages 6. Price indices and evaluation 7. Analysis of the balance of payments 8. Midterm Exam 9. Analysis of public revenues 10. Analysis of public expenditures 11. Analysis of government debts: internal debts 12. Analysis of government debts: external debts 13. Analysis of public budget 14. Analysis of foreign trade data 15. Final Exam
