Course Objective The aim of this course is to inform and provide students with a good understanding of monetary theory and policy, international money and capital markets, international monetary system, exchange rate practices, macro-economic policy analysis in an open economy
Course Content Monetary theory and policy, international money markets, international bond markets, exchange rate systems, the Bretton Woods system, the international liquidity, Mundell-Fleming model, aggregate demand and aggregate supply in the open and closed economies
