Course Objective The aim of the course, help to students develop their capacity of understanding and solve different problems in their professional lives. Develops to be aware of the urban problems.
Course Content management of urban growth and development, urban planning, migration from rural to urban areas, housing policies, urban land policies, urbanization, urban policies.

1Reviews, compares, and evaluates the theoretical foundations of urbanization and urban theories.
2Explains the reasons and historical conditions of urbanization in Turkey and around the World.
3Learns and discuss the theories, process, and legal foundations of urban planning.
4Queries the basic features of the housing problem
5Recognizes the fundamental characteristics of the problem of landing and formulates the activities developed for the solution of this problem.
