Course Objective Gaining skills and knowledge about teaching Turkish Language to students in special needs.
Course Content Understand the value of reading and literacy development for students with special educational needs-related activities, vocabulary development, grammar teaching, writing process, texts written activity for the preparation of written expression skills, reading skills and strategies definition of strategies and implementation of skills in textual analysis, and the importance of individualized reading instruction: implementation and evaluation, critical reading, creative writing, reading, text analysis methods, activities that develop listening skills, techniques/strategies that develop specific reading and writing in groups in need of special education.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Describe the content of Turkish lesson, necessity of course, scope, objectives and principles.
2Describe the learning theories and learning stages which are necessary in order to create an educational environment related to Turkish lesson.
3Create an individualized educational program for students by taking into consideration the content of Turkish lesson and learning stages.
4Use the methods and techniques used in teaching Turkish.
5Describe the environment, tools and materials needed to create a Turkish lesson plan.
6Explain how to make an evaluation for Turkish lesson.
7Turkish lesson develops and applies daily lesson plan.
